3 way control valves are used to combine two flows or to divertone flow into two outlets. These valves replace and perform thefunctions of two single ported control valves acting in opposite directions. They are mainly used to control thecirculation of water, oil, sea water or other liquid in heating or coolingapplications involving heat exchanger bypass control.
